Your car is looking gooood!

Is it a slow day in Ohio?

My stock 2013 FR-S gets about 28 around town and about 33 on the highway.

I can easily average low 30s if I'm taking care of it on the interstate on cruise control. My average with a lot of city driving is currently sitting at 25.9.

How do you guys do that? Mine is around 21 mpg driving around town and about 26 mpg driving on country roads and highways. I am amazed at people who claim to always drive at 4000 rpm. If I did that, the fuel consumption would be in the teens. I know it's because I drive like I am always late, that's why I do not get good gas mileage, and I accept that. It's good to know that if I restrain myself, I can achieve the numbers that you guys are getting.

Drive like a grandma and keep the revs low = get the best gas mileage
Drive like a hooligan and keep the revs up = gas hogging

I drive like I'm always late and I average combined 31 MPG. Don't drive crazy in town and hit a 78 MPH cruise. I do, however have a decent stretch of back road I drive in a "spirited" manner twice daily on my commute.

Distance travelled (use trip odo) divided by the amount of your next fillup.

The MPG average display in my car reads about 26, so I figure I'm getting 28-30 on the highway and 24 or so city. Obviously rough numbers since I haven't done the real math.

Thanks

Mine varies from 23.6 to 26.9 mpg in that case. Only one tank it touched 27 mpg.

DD = 29mpg avg. Best full tank mpg on a road trip, 38.6

503 miles divided by 38.6 = 13.031 gallons. This is the only time a tank has lasted me 500 miles.

Usually high 25s. I have to really restrain myself to get low 27s.
