If it's a Auto, then its more so a target. New gen. thieves cannot drive manual (most, I haven't taken a pole on all thieves , but that is what I hear).

Damaged lower trim on front cowl
After avoiding it for more than two years I finally bumped the lower front black trim strip on my RS2 #921. Luckily the painted bumper cover above was undamaged so I removed the black strip which was held in place by an amazing number of fasteners. It was mashed but not broken so my heat gun relaxed it to something close to it's original shape. Thickened epoxy reinforced the back and a thin coat on the surface restored the original shape after sanding. Painted satin black the repair should be undetectable.
My question is whether anyone has installed a proximity sensor to prevent damage in light of the extra low clearance on the front of the RS2? This unit on Amazon should work except that I don't know where to mount the sensors and think the display may look pretty tacky mounted on the dash. I'm just about ready to forget it and hope that the work of the repair will make me more careful. Any ideas? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AZIXY3G...b-1db580407759 |

#421 here! I've owned it for a while, I was just scared to join. Every time I join a forum, I end up selling my car. So I just creeped for a long time. Anyway, I got #421, got a few little things done. Lowered, Invidia exhaust, side markers, same thing almost everyone does. . I have an automatic.. for now.. I'm working on something in my spare time and if I pull it off, I'll do a diy for what im doing for anyone who wants to go manual. I know of 2 ways its been done. Im trying a new way.

Hey guys,
So I've found #624, and would love to own a release series, but just the whole thing about it's history sorta turns me away. Thoughts? Link: https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/...844042067.html |

It is a roll of the dice.
Good price. If you're serious, meet the guy, look over all paperwork with a fine tooth comb / magnify glass ... ask plenty of questions. Otherwise, if you want a clean non-rebuilt title / non-salvaged RS2 , mileage under say 25k , I'd think $20-22k is fairly realistic , so yeah there is about a $10k difference in price
