plastic dip VS vinyl wrap

Ok, I want to do an experiment on my car and was wondering which is the best route to go with, Plastic dip or vinyl. Which is more durable?

plastic dip is for someone who wants a quick and easy mod.

it takes more skills to apply vinyl wrap correctly.

plasti dip is cheaper but vinyl is more durable.

for an experiment, start with plastidip first then if you like it change to vinyl

just my 2 cents!

I own a digital print and wrap shop in NJ, heres my 2 cents;

Vinyl and wraps are made to be installed and removed without harming paint, plasti dip...wasn't made to replace paint was it?

I saw two cars with plasti dip at a show today, didn't look that great! I surely wouldn't do that to my fresh paint! My friends M3, I wrapped over his old, scratched, 10 year old paint with nicks and dents and now it looks like it was just painted and if he decides he doesn't like it in a week or whenever he can take it off.

I have one company who brings us brand new trucks with less than 100 miles on them every year and we wrap them, when they decide to get rid of the trucks we remove the vinyl and they're left with brand new paint.
