I have a Watts story for you. One time in the early 80's me and a buddy went down to LA to visit his brother. We met a couple gals and asked them to dinner. Not knowing the area, we just looked at a map for the quickest route to the restaurant we were going to, and went. All of a sudden, the area was looking quite rough. Then the red flashing lights went off behind us.

Cop pulled us over. I asked why as he was busy checking us out. Once he realized we really were in the wrong place by accident, he says, "You know where you are?". We say no. He says," you are in Watts, they will kill you here for being white. Follow me ". And we got a police escort out of Watts.

Wait, have i told this?

Wow, that cop was a racist POS. I mean, if you got out of the car and started saying racist things, watch out. But if your car broke down, probably the worst you'd have gotten was some shit and a call to a tow truck. Now if people from those neighborhoods went into a white neighborhood, oh boy...

For the rest of the tests, in addition to the first hint, analyze where the instructor is getting the majority of the questions for the tests (lecture, reference materials, lab, or text books) and focus on that area.

If that fails, during the test, sit next to an Asian girl - and copy off of her -

another problem I have. my GF is a CPA(this is an accounting class) and partner at her firm. we're going over my material etc and the whole time she's saying things like, "why are they teaching you this? it doesn't work like that. this is totally wrong.".

Can't say that I have. We just have wheel thief problems. Though there are a few spots I should probably avoid.

I hate cities too,but they're damned convenient. Often I think i should just sell the car, offset property ta, by.... Hmm,only 5% for insurance... Whole car would cover a year. Never mind. Pity the jobs are in $$$$$$ markets.

Did this Saturday. 911 GT3
https://www.porschedriving.com/atlan...-m-peca-911gt3

AWESOME! learned so much about racing and driving in general. 1.5hrs of fun. launch controlled drag.

kick plate fun which was just like hitting a patch of ice on the road. it legit sends the car into a spin out of no where.

low friction circle. practiced bring the car back into control losing it in water and tried my hand at drifting. almost got it but not quite. the one time I really had it the guy in front of me spun out so we had to stop.

the low friction handling circuit was like a big go-cart track. flying through the corners sideways.

did some slaloms which was soooo much easier and faster when I did it right.

and my favorite the 1-mile track.

if you get the chance to do something like this DO IT! you will not regret it.

Spark plugs swap completed. This could have been put on the backburner for much longer. Auto tranny fluid was definitely on the dirty, black end of things though.

Glad I didn't wait to do all this because the guy helping me discovered the timing cover is leaking. I've never had a reason to take off the skid plate. When he did, he noticed oil droplets collecting at the bottom of one of the rubber hoses. Getting this fixed in the near future.

Reminds me of the time long, long ago, I was in a chemistry lab class taking 101 semi-micro qualitative analysis (the old fashioned way - manually). My lab partner, who was older and worked in a lab, told me that "you know, they have instruments for doing this these days - they are called GCs and HPLCs".

Shit! Why am I titrating this "unknown" - I could just sent it to a lab -

word.

the prof has even said this a time or two, "this isn't how it's actually done. it's just how the course wants you to learn it.". and people wonder why our educational system sucks so much.

this isn't some community college. it's the 2nd largest school in my state. plenty of money and resources to go around.

going to talk to the prof after class tonight. I'm almost certain I got a chit grade on my quiz because it the software wants us to put extra lines into our balance sheets that don't have the info in real life.

My word of advice is, on the test, just give them what they are looking for.

You can learn/practice doing it the updated way on your own time -
