Im thinking of the ACE FP since its designed for the headers, I know with this Ti exhaust it will be loud as Fk.

I currently have the Borla catback which is decent but I want ultimate weight reduction. Without being as loud as a single exit Ti setup

OOooohhhhh I very curious as to how this works out!

JDL ultra quiet FP with cat and resonated or stock FP with the little resonator removed and a aftermarket welded into it's place.

I think im going to test it with my blown out hooker Headers FP which is basically a test pipe with a Helmholtz resonator on it and go from there.

-Stock FP is out of the question, I want to stay 2.5" piping all the way through, no bottlenecks. Plus keep it fresh for putting on for inspection.

-Considering the JDL dual resonated pipe. Want to avoid the cat this time since it may just blown out again. Had a HKS dual res fp and loved it but its only 2.35" ( this will be my 4th exhaust setup try)

- If I can tolerate the sound with my current FP, first choice will be the ACE FP since that works best with ACE headers

Jdl I am sure would make you a custom dual resonated 2.5inch FP.

Got my FactionFab Titanium Exhaust in today so here are the individual pieces to it weighed. Including the bolts, clamps ect comes to exactly 16.97 lbs. Its advertised at 17 WOW!

Also the inside diameter is 67mm (~2.64") Which makes its bigger than the 2.5" its advertised as! But not too big

Most stainless 2.5" exhausts are closer to 2.38" on the inside

The Tomei 60S is 14lbs with 60mm piping one muffler. So for 3lbs more you get a whole side of piping, another Muffler, Tip with 67mm piping with this.

Stumbled upon this the FactionFab looks exactly like the topspeed TI exhaust, even the packaging of the gaskets is the same. The Topspeed one has been around awhile and they have the sizing correct at 70mm piping.

Got the exhaust installed today! I am really impressed with this I was scared it would be too loud. Fitment was perfect

Keep in mind the cat on my Hooker Headers front pipe was rattling/then clogged/ then blew partially out within the last month. I stuck a plumbing snake up there and something is still intact.

Will most likely take a gamble now on a catless 2.75"/70mm front pipe soon

Currently:
Ace350 Headers
Messed up Hooker Headers catted front pipe
FactionFab TI exhaust

Ill be honest there is more cabin bass than the Borla after driving it. But its only at low cruising speeds, at highway speeds its fine, and sounds amazing and smooth at full throttle.

I will be passing on the straight front pipe idea and getting something 70mm with a resonator

Thanks for posting. Expected it to be a bit raspy, but it sounds great. I think the resonated front pipe is a good idea. Which one were you looking at?

Interested in hearing more clips and possibly drive-bys once that front pipe gets fixed! Definitely sounds different.

the Ultimate Racing 2.75"/70mm since that will mate up with this exhaust diameter, and larger FP have shown to benefit the Ace350 headers.

With that said I ordered a 2.75 straight pipe since it was only $75 shipped just to try it

not a surprise, there's nothing new or revolutionary about this exhaust, it just so happens that more people are exposed to it now.

Mines better because it has a little factionfab stamp and is sold by ft86speedfactory. Was upset I didn't get a factionfab sticker
