Oh, whatev's about your whatev's. I think a dim little mood light would be cool. One of the first things I did when I brought my car home was to get in an poke around under that little triangle.

Let me know if you get it worked out. I'll do the same and spend my evenings driving in front of Tromatic.

FTR, I get this. I just don't think it should be illegal to put a little acorn light in there or something. <sigh>

OP, make that light blue for more better coolness.
I don't get why you're so worried about him getting a ticket or it being illegal. I've had it wired up for 2 years in Cali and have never been pulled over for that (knock on wood).

I'd be more worried about my loud exhaust, or no front plate as opposed to a rear fog light ticket.

Thanks for your useless post though. I'm sure you answered OP's question

It's been raining here in SOCAL, and i would love to have that light on so the tailgaters would keep their distance,

He is obviously very concern about me getting a $1000 ticket, for a dinky little light.

This here shouldn't be a problem right? bright enough to be seen for a mile away, and surely keeps the tailgaters away

Whenever I get behind someone who is running those bright rear lights, I return the favor by running my bright headlights.

Just trying to be helpful because I love my fellow FR-S/BRZ owners. If I can prevent one of you from joining the ranks of the retarded I consider it a job well done.
