Everyone who is even thinking about ever autocrossing is STX should send a message through the system here: http://crbscca.com/

Subject line should read:#12449 Oil Cooler Allowance Proposal

Then in your own words short and sweet or not so long and drawn out let the SEB know that you support this proposal for all Street Touring classes.

As i recently discovered toe arms are illegal. Thanks @blkwrxwag from what i understood, it was how it connected to the car at the innermost part not being a bushing. If it is only the connection like the megan racing version; would the whiteline be legal(appears to be bushing)? Thanks in advance

"on double/unequal arm suspensions only the upper arms or lower arms may be modified or replaced but not both. Non-integral longitudinal arms that primarily control fore/aft wheel movement, (trailing arms, links of a multilink suspension) maynot be replaced, changed, or modified."

I read very carefully and found no allowance for toe adjusters. "Non-integral longitudinal arms that primarily control fore/aft wheel movement" does not include toe arms. But thank you for giving me the idea.

It's also within a camber allowance. Gotta prove Camber change IMO, and would be how I'd rule if on a Protest Committee.

#13236 Toe Link Clarification
There is no allowance in Street Touring for aftermarket toe links. In regards to aftermarket control arms, you can replace
your upper or lower arm. However the mounting points must be in precisely the stock locations, excluding the sway bar
endlink mount, and excluding incidental chan

I really don't think you actually read was I was saying. I was quoting the fact that they are NOT allowed. I don't understand why this is still a discussion.

I did understand but since it was just in the Fastrack I figured I would show it in black and white the ruled opinion.

I bring my tires to the events to change , and since I haven't found a jack low enough that can reach the front jacking point and portable enough to bring to events.... I have been using the pinch weld behind the front tire (I know the risks , shame on me , I'm trying to do better ) to lift both front and back tire a the same time to change wheels. After doing some reading I might be better of going for dead center to lift both . How do you guys do it??

I and most other people lift from the side.

Buy a jack pad like this:

http://protechproducts.com/index.php...ory&path=35_37

Or buy a hockey puck and cut a slit in it to fit the pinch weld. Then you can lift the car anywhere on the side and not worry about it.

I've been using one of the Protech ones on a few different cars for 8+ years now and it's as good as new.

with the new 2014 R.S.
http://ca.autoblog.com/2014/04/16/20...new-york-2014/

since it comes with TRD lowering springs... does it mean, if my non-R.S. model uses the same set of springs, i will still stay in stock class? or into STX?

While I can't guarantee anything, I'd say the odds of this staying in CS are slim to none. I know my vote won't allow it to stay.

Too many "standard" twins out there that you would make immediately outclassed. I'm sure it will follow the CR logic and move to BS. But will still be allowed in STX.
