Weight.....

While I was on vacation my friends race shop did some protyping with my Scion 6m FR-S www.evilgeniusracing.com

They corner weighed it and here is the results, with 1/4 tank of fuel & EVERYTHING else in it...floormats, owners manual, ipod etc

Total 2700lbs
Front 56.1%
Cross 49.2%
Left: 50.1%

With 183lb driver
Total 2883lbs
Front 55.5%
Cross 49.0%
Left: 51.7%

A bit more nose heavy than I would like, but it sure doesn't handle like it!!

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you take 5-10 minutes and clean out the interior, and remove the floor mats, spare tire, manuals, etc?

I wanted an example of what a stock FR-S weighs, as delivered from teh dealer.....plus I wasn't there.... Its really easy for someone to weigh all of those items at home to get an idea how much weight can be lost.....

The goal for the week was to design a bolt in 1/2 roll cage (back half) and possibly a new muffler.....both are pending.....
