Sacramento Area Monthly Meet

Here's a couple of the pics I took with slight post processing. It was nice meeting all the folks I haven't met before. The turnout was a lot better than what I had anticipated.

congrats on what looks to be a very good meet. that's the funny but great thing about this community, sometimes you post up something to meet and no one responds, and then 15 people show up haha.

That's fantastic! I knew it was only a matter of time before there would be more folks at the Sac meets.

There actually more folks who showed up towards the end. It was very successful IMO. The only thing I would change is maybe the location. We need a place with shade. I can only imagine once summer hits.

It was fun meeting everybody. Finding a place with shade would be awesome though.

I thought the meet went great, my dad had a lot of fun too. Big thanks to all who put up with the old man and I chewing your ears off with questions

Shoulda brought name tags tho, I remember a lot of faces but not too many names.

From talking around it sounds like we should have a few guys with headers at the next meet, quite a few people mentioned that it's top on their list for soon-to-get mods. Looking forward to next month.

Thanks for coming out everyone. Last month, when it was just Tracy, Tony, and myself standing there in that empty lot, we (I) didn't expect so many people to show up today.

We'll definitely need to figure out a better meeting location though. The heat was a bit much and it was only 80. Maybe find a place with lunch-type food so we can go inside :P

Thanks to everyone coming out today! I'm sorry about the shade issue. I didn't think it would be so hot... Great turnout hopefully this will continue to get bigger or stay the same amount I don't mind either one. There was a nice group of people that came out I hope we can hangout even outside the meet sometime to make a nice solid group to attend other meets/events or just even help each other out. I hope more people from different areas can make it out also.

Changes


New location will be made before the summer time for sure I don't think anyone will survive in the location around that time haha.


The meet will be on Saturday at the same time instead of Sunday for people who would like to hangout after the meet to grab food, watch movies, cruise, and anything else.


Dates will be later in the month since it conflicts with a meet in Dublin I believe correct me if I'm wrong please.

June 28th

I would like to thank everyone for coming out today! It was a great turn out for our first monthly meet in Sacramento. If everyone likes this location then we can push the time back later towards the evening when it starts to get hot. I'm going to keep wearing the "Hello my name is..." tag I got from the Livermore meet until the adhesive stops sticking. Hope to see new and familiar faces at next month's meet.

Hey everyone if you have a suggestion for a new location post it. I would like to get a few ideas so we can agree on a new location. And also start time spring time is here so it's going to be getting hot during the day.

If we move to evening time I think there are other meets randomly at that same spot as well.

I want to have this all decided by the next time we meet.

Aprils meet will be at the same time and location. New location and time will start in May.
