Investment casting is a possibility.
Use the machined prototype as the master and then off you go.
There are many investment casting shops in the US that do everything fro 20pcs to hundreds or thousands.
Investment casting provides a much finer surface finish that requires less cleaning post-casting. You might even get away without having to machine anything - it can be that clean and accurate.
Even zinc castings if you wanted light but strong.

I have an A/T and have been thinking about doing this on my own - but at the right price i'd be up for something like your concept.

How about an aftermarket steering column with paddles mounted on the steering column? I personally can't stand that the paddles are ON the steering wheel. It's fine til you need to shift in a turn....

I'd pay huge amounts of monies for that ^

I just left it out of the model because it will depend on the final material. If it is metal, it would be etched in, if it were plastic, it would be embossed.

If we are to use printing methods, we could make the material a buyer option. The options would be plastic, glass-filled nylon, aluminum, stainless and titanium.

They had a feeler for another set of paddleshifters that I really liked. It was a wet carbon fiber look TOO! I think you should do that, and im in for sure!

What we really need are replacement assemblies that put Up and Down on both sides so all you need is one hand by the paddle to shift when driving spiritedly.
