Anyone want a M800 and M600?
What modifications do you have done to yours?

Really an awesome setup. The car I am doing runs amazing, been a lot of fun getting the launch and traction control dialed in, cam timing, DI/port transitions, so much power, data and capability in this package for the price.

I am going to have it out at a local drift/track event tomorrow to show a few people and give it a good thrashing.

I did an turbo FRS with an M800, worked very well (and was all we had at the time) but this is a whole leap ahead from that.

You were quoted $3800 for ECU, Harness, and License?

Yup, we got the email today too. I can't wait although we'll probably go straight for the build option. I was pretty excited to see what "build" has to offer at PRI.

Build is amazing. This ECU really is a game changer.

Yeah, to be honest I was pretty disappointed with the M1 release until I heard about build, and I was still skeptical. I was pretty sure I would hang onto all my MX00 series stuff but after one look in person I'm sold. This is definitely the future in engine management.

Nobody clings more dearly to the MX00 than I do, I absolutely love them (still do). But having done a few cars now on the M1 across a fairly wide variety of platforms, I can say with certainty they are a huge leap ahead in performance, just how the cars run. It isn't just stuff like peak power, that is easy. It is idle control stability, boost control precision, transient fuel control/precision, knock control, traction control, etc, etc, all the little details that you can't hang a big dyno number on to show off. Then of course you add in the massive capability that Build can provide the right people and it quite literally makes EVERYTHING else currently on the market look a lot dated.

Glad you got to see it in person and get a better feel for what it can do. Very excited by this product!

I agree, the best part about this ecu is in fact start up, idle and drive ability. Our car has never idled or drove as well as it did with big port injectors. It's just nice to have complete control. The individual cylinder knock control, gain and frequency adjustment is a must on a built motor and works incredibly well.

There has been a lot of excitement around this product and those who get a chance to play with it, will not be disappointed.

We should have confirmed pricing tomorrow. There has been a lot of confusion as to what the actual pricing is and we are looking at ways to reduce the cost.

We have finished 1000cc, 1300cc and we are currently working on 2200cc port injector maps that will be included.

Alright, would you consider this an over the top solution for me? Seeing as how I'm mot going to be competitive, just daily driven but with my 450whp goal and built block?

Or would I be better off with ECUTek for what I'll be using the car for?

To be honest, that decision will be based on your budget and how much control you want to have. Both systems will get you to your goal.
