grip can be fun too, exploring its limits just require higher speeds, and with enough power even grip can be drifted!

Honestly, how he's become so popular is a mystery to me. I don't think I have ever seen a review from Matt Farah that I liked. Maybe it's just a bad taste left in my mouth from that god awful "Car Show" haha.

Also, when a review guy has sponsors by retailers, you start to question everything the guy says. I remember looking online to find the best ways to wash and detail your car and I found a video done by him. He kept saying this and that work best and it's sold at autozone. Later in the video, a segment comes up and it's an autozone commercial... |

So many unanswered questions. What size and make of tires on the SEMA car? How much do the new rims weigh? What bolt on improvements?

Seemed pretty wishy washy to me. No details on the grip car was really annoying. Also, as already mentioned, why was it heavier? He specifically mentioned unsprung weight. Not impressed.

I have a problem with the term "modified" when it comes to this car.
In the past any sort of modification is an improvement over stock, Plenty of similar cars like the s13, s14, fc rx7, mr2, ect, will see greater benefits from modifications because they usually have some obvious flaws. Most tuners mod to combat those flaws to have a more balanced machine. The Zx6 however is incredibly balanced from the factory, which means those same modifications we are accustomed too may start to move away from being balanced. What i don't like about this review is that we don't know anything about the modified car, and how those modifications effect the balance. To me the video review was a bit misleading, especially to people looking at the tuning capabilities of the car. Add more power, add more grip Add more grip, add more steering response add steering response, add more chassis support. Awhile balancing out braking, cooling, and drag. From my limited seat time in the brz, I believe the only thing the car suffers in is braking performance. That would have been my first mod, before moving into dialing in power:grip

what is his automotive background? he says things like "unsprung weight", but I got the sense he thinks his audience doesn't know much, or he doesn't.
There is so much to be done to these cars to make them better without compromise, you just can't do it with crappy parts. Alignment adjustibility, Dampers, lower CG, less weight, brakes, the list goes on. Unfortunately, the quality parts are way out numbered by the ...ummm... not quality ones.

Agree...every one of his "reviews" seems to just be his lard ass driving the car while he makes statements that are obvious. One and a half second faster in the mystery grip car...maybe fatty tested that car before lunch LOL because the only thing he mentioned was a brake/roto and tire/wheel packages...LAME
