Learn to drive and enjoy the car as is. This car is so much nicer than the stuff I had when I was youngish. Put some of that 5k to 7k into a 401k retirement savings account. You will come out way ahead decades from now.

That's a big budget for very little experience.

Stay stock suspension for now, spend money on seat time. Learn what you want out of the car. Do it right, do it once.

At most get some camber bolts and an alignment to use your tires more effectively. It'll make a world of difference even on stock set-up.
