The Cars and Coffee show is typically worth the drive. A lot of nice cars show up. Leander isn't that far anyway -- I head there from very South Austin.

I think this is a great event and try to never miss it. What more do you want a bunch of various car guys showing off their cars from regular cars to Mclaren P2s. We need more BRZ/FRS to show up too. I will be there and added some more mods since last time.

Hope to see some others there.

That makes me feel bad for never making it there, as it's in my corner of the area. I'll get there eventually! Today might not have been too bad other than not having the car to bring ;-)

Yep, and that was my Camaro next to it as well! I got there late so I couldn't park next to the BRZ/FRS guys, lol.

Inbetween me was a Ferrari and a Lotus... I wasn't out of place at all! Lol.

These smilies are awesome, haha.

The shield package is both exterior and interior. 3M scotchgard and the outside has a solvent that deters against chemicals, weathering, etc in the paint. Comes with a 3 year, 36,000 on the interior and doesn't cover acts of God, burning, (stupid things basically). Some would say this can all be done aftermarket for cheaper, and it probably can, but waiting possibly 3-4 weeks longer for an FR-S because it has this package versus not.... Yeah... I couldn't do that.

Who has gotten their window tint done here in Austin? I wanted some recommendations of places that were relatively inexpensive while maintaining good quality (warranty, etc...)

Anyone have any recommendations?

It wasn't cheap, but I got my ceramic done @ sun tint. It's the only place in town I've ever received recommendations from, and after having a couple cars done there, I really like them.

My dealer threw it in for 249.99, its got a lifetime warranty. PM me and I can get you there info to get their shop that they outsource if u want.

We don't even have the FR-S yet, but that's definitely the most fun I've ever had shopping for Christmas presents for the wife, LOL... Fortunately (or unfortunately), I was able to keep myself from buying the AVO Stage 1 turbo kit.

I saw that the Cars and Coffee is now going to be out at Lake Travis now instead of Leander? I'll probably be out there in January as well. We need an FR-S/BRZ presence there! This time, I'll park in the right area and come early, lol.

Yes it looks like an excellent place to hold C & C. Great drive there and just a stone's throw away from Lime Creek Rd.
