OFT A01G A00G 700G ROM's with V2xx changes inserted. @wayno has done some I roms
OK Attached are ZA1JA01G rom's with the OFT V2 tables inserted as per below these will only load into an OFT if your stock ROM was A01G. or A00G or 700G
If you have an AUTO your in luck @Wayno has created some automatic I series rom with V2 changes see post below in this thread for A01I 700I A00I http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=13 Use these ROM's at your own risk I take no responsibility !!! they are not official release OFT ROMS !!! These are for STOCK cars on 98/100 RON petrol A01G or A00G or 700G Stg1 V2.03 LC FFS 98 RON ROM has has -0.7 degrees removed from ignition timing base B map from 6000-redline rpm high load and -0.35 removed from 1600-3500 rpm medium to high load A01G Stg1 V2.03 LC FFS 100 RON Runs the same timing B map as the USA 93 maps The attached ROM's have LC and FFS patch so you must use the OFT V1.5x (yes V1.5x ) definition files from the OFT site to edit. The V2x defs are for D00G based ROM and don't have LC/FFS patch tables and the table locations are different. The roms below are A01G based. If you have a different stock ROM you will have to make your own. Making your own Tuned ROM by copying across tuned tables to your stock ROM if you have a different stock ROM. Understand what you are doing use the correct definition files , check and re-check your work. Copy all the changed Tables from the ROM for a V2xx OFT tune these were the modified tables over a stock ROM for D00G to A01G these may be different for different ROM's Primary Open loop fuelling Front Oxygen Sensor Scaling CL Fuelling Target Compensation A (load) CL Fuelling Target Compensation B (load) Throttle tip In enrichment A Throttle tip In enrichment B A/F Learning #1 Limits MAF Sensor Scaling Base Timing A Base Timing B Knock Correction Advance Max A Timing compensation (IAT) Timing compensation Per Cylinder A Timing compensation Per Cylinder B Feedback Correction Retard Value Fine correction Rows (RPM) Fine correction Columns (Load) Fine correction retard value Advance Multiplier (Initial) Requested Torque A (Accelerator Pedal) Rev Limit (fuel cut) Idle Speed Target A Idle Speed Target B Idle Speed Target C Idle Speed Target D Idle Speed Target E Idle Speed Target F GDI Firing Angle Cold Idle GDI Firing Angle High load Cold GDI Firing Angle High load Hot GDI Firing Angle Low Load Cold GDI Firing Angle Low Load Hot Intake Cam Advance Angle Safe AVCS Intake Cam Advance Angle Normal AVCS Exhaust Cam Retard Angle Safe AVCS Exhaust Cam Retard Angle Normal AVCS Open a Stock ROM in Romraider ie a ZA1JD00G then the modified ROM use the ROM image compare function in RomRaider to compare the images . Copy all the required tables to your stock ROM and save. Note sometimes it better to compare a Stock ROM and a Modified ROM from same series and revision ie compare a D00G stock to modified, note all the tables changes as per above list (this may change) then compare to a ROM from different series or revision. When your comparing/copying between different series/revision roms you may see missing tables this is because older/newer or different rom series definitions may define extra tables. If you are uncomfortable with this then DON'T DO IT if you mess it up it will have bad consequences. Last edited by steve99; 08-31-2014 at 06:16 AM. Reason: Add A00G 700G ROM add wayno's ROMs |

Hi Steve,
thanks for your efforts to make a "cloned" ROM. As I understand OFT will see these ROMs as v1.xx (and allow to flash), but the ROMs "internally" are v2.03 Definitive I'll try one of these ROMs on weekend and I'll report back if there are any ill effects (hope others will do too). As for LC and FFS patches I hope they're not activated right now, because I like to do that kind of driving on my own and without help of some electrons (stubborn old man) and I think I don't want to invest time to switch them off ;-) Bye for now Fred |

FFS is disabled LC is set to default 5600 rpm so car will not rev to over 5600 when traveling at less than 10 kph, you will not notice this unless you do a launch using a higher rpm you can edit with romraider. |

Steve, I need your help to do something against my confusion . Because of my anticipation to run v2 I lost enough concentration to decide that I have to skip work early and try to flash. But...
Long story short: My original ROM is A00G, my OFT came equipped with A01G tuning files. They flashed perfectly (at least stage 1 A01G v1.59) and my engine runs well with A01G. But now I'm not able to load your A01G files up into my OFT ("the file selected is not compliant"). The only file I can load is A00G.bin from v1.59 set of files... Well, this is confusing and annoying. So my question: How can I foul OFT into thinking that A00G and A01G are the same? Hope my German-English is good enough to clarify my problem... TIA Bye for now Fred |

Correct if your original ROM was an A00G you will not be able to load the roms above. The OFT guys use a few "tricks" on their roms as they base their tunes on the latest roms available in your case A01G but they then alter some things in the rom to get the OFT to load it. This is why you see A01G on your OFT as your actually running a modded A01G rom but your original rom is still A00G and this is what OFT looks at. This modding has other consequences as you then have to use modified definition files, this is why its important to use the OFT definitions for OFT roms and also use the definitions that match the tune series V1.5 or V2 ect. Your English is far better than my German :-) |

Thanks for clarification. Now I think I have to put the modifications I need to get it to work on a halt. Will wait for Shiv to have a solution. He knows how to modify check sums etc...
@Shiv@Openflash: Is it possible to implement some "intelligence" into OpenFlashMangager to allow upload of data files which are compatible, but have different names? Out of experience I know your A01G is compatible to A00G. My ECU originally is programmed to A00G, due to your safety routines in OpenFlashManager I can't upload A01G to my tablet - even if the tablet was delivered with A01G, which programs and runs well... In addition can someone tell me the differences between A01G and D00G? As I understand D00G should run on an ECU which runs A01G which runs A00G. It's like running KitKat (Android 4.4.x) on my old mobile phone which was designed for using Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x). As long as you don't break the boot loader all is possible. Well... |

Hi Steve, quick report: Downloaded and installed your tweaked ROM into OFT, flashed this morning and drove about 100km today. Engine runs smooth, picks up any throttle movement easily and overall driveability improved (at least it feels like that ). The somewhat rough running between 4000 and 4500 1/min is still there but much less dominant. Idle is stable. Overall I have to say it was absolutely worth to be a pest to make someone tweak the modified A01G ROM into believing it is an A00G ROM. You made my day, thanks a lot. Your Christmas present is most welcome and I owe you some beers!
@anyone running A00G ROM: Steve "modified" a verified A01G ROM which contains a lot (if not all) tables based on genuine OFT V2.03 ROM thinking it's an A00G ROM. This was the best solution for the time being to run the latest software on an oldish 2013 GT86. Just remind you: Please read the first post and understand it before you try to modify any settings. If you are lazy like me and you just want to use state of the art software without modifying this is what runs "out of the box". At least A00G, can't test 700G. Bye for now Fred PS: If anyone finds typos I hereby agree that you can keep them |

I did not touch any setting other than base-timing-b to adjust for 98 rom fuel as oposed t o 93 usa fuel which appears to have superior knock resistance. hence slightly reduced ignition timing in a couple of areas. if you have good fuel or 100 ron available just copy the base-tming-b map from the 100 ron tune to your 98 tune as the 100 rn map is full timing in usa 93 tune. |

Once I have emptied the E85 out of my tank I will give the 700G rom go. Thanks again for spending the time to throw it together.

If its quite hot over there at the moment it might be worth making the IAT (intake air temp) verses timing retard tables a bit more aggressive. That way when its hot it will pull a bit of timing and when the intake air temps cools off your timing will be put back. If IAT below 25 Celsius then just pull a bit of timing if you want. there is more info on the temperature compensation in the knock correction thread here add it a couple of weeks ago. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61820 |

I'm switching to United P100 at the end of the week. I'm sick of looking at the knock on 98. Then I'll try changing up from the 91 to the 93 maps.
Attached some AT tunes. 91 = BP Ultimate, 93 = United P100 (hopefully). |
