Back on topic..

On a more POSITIVE NOTE..
I'm back!!
Been over two months since I've spent any money on the car.
I decided to get one of these things..

Will be interesting to see what kind of gains can be achieve with these.
$520 AUD shipped from Jeremy @ FT86speedfactory.

45,000km service is due this week. Next week will be Project Mu HC+ Brake pads(front/rear) with a fresh flush of brake fluid(Motul 5.1). Week after that will hopefully be a re-tune of the car using the Crawford power blocks.

I just spent 5 minutes on Perths Shittiest. What a waste of energy.

Keep doing what you're doing. Nice one Steveo.

@stevo_12v i am just curious as to where you bought the Aero front fender, did you buy it directly from INGs's website or did you go through another vendor?

I had a dyno tune today. Reflashed to the 2014 map.
If anyone has an early release car, it's a worthwhile investment if your seeking more HP.

These measurements are done on a HUB DYNO(Dynapack 5000)
Here's a STOCK power level GTS 86: ~130HP
My current modified power is: 179.6HP so I'm happy with that.. for the time being. Last power run I was at around 168HP.
Here's the graph:

I also had the Crawford 'Billet Power Blocks' installed today hence the retune. The torque curve starts 500 rpm earlier and there is a nice increase in available torque.

Comparison between bone stock 86 and my current mods.

Hiya, I got mine from Jesse Streeter - http://jessestreeter.com/
He can source alot of JDM stuff and freight it to you cheap(what it costs him), he just makes a % markup from the product obviously.
Prices are very reasonable, I always order through him.

Nice build thread, sir!
Was the reverse light just plug and play in the RB rear diffuser?

Thanks
I had to get the wires soldered up. The oval shaped NARVA reverse LED fits perfectly to it also.

Whiteline stuff ordered.

Ordered some Whiteline parts for the car. Hopefully will help improve the handling and therefore track times.

BSK016 - Sway Bar Kit(Front and Rear)
This is a combo bundle of the BSF45Z($299) and BSR54Z($369) which is a pretty good saving. Both adjustable sways too. Includes link assemblies.

KCA435 - Roll Centre/Bump Steer correction kit(mainly for lowered cars)

KCA434 - Control Arm(lower inner front bushing)

W0509 - Control Arm(lower inner rear bushing)

KSR210 - Steering - Rack & Pinion mount bushing

Quick Latch Mini

These arrived today after 3 weeks. Will make aligning the front bumper perfect. I ordered 6x of them, around $150 total or thereabouts. Two for the front and possibly 4 for the rear bumper.

Minor update

Not much happening with the car lately apart from a trackday or two. Whiteline F/R sways and endlinks are still yet to arrive. The other Whiteline goodies will be installed mid next week.

Here's some results of the last track day. Not bad considering I was on my daily driven tyres(Michelin PS3's) and not my usual semi slicks(Kumho V700).

With some more track experience, better suspension mods and new racing slicks I should be able to beat my goal of sub 60sec for Barbagallo 'short track'.

Whiteline Install & Alignment

Had these installed. The bushings in the front LCA need to be pressed out. I'll need to get some adjustable camber tops for the front and some rear LCA's for the rear. Thinking of getting some Function 7 billet aluminium ones.

Sway bars weren't fitted as they have been backordered over two months now and no sight of them. I'm thinking of directly ordering from the states instead if its a quicker solution. None of the distributors in Australia have the swaybar kit for this car.
