Hey there, I took mine in and first diagnosis is the fuel tank. Now the dealer wants 2300 bucks to replace it but at this point I am confident that this is not the problem seeing all the paths y'all have been down
My question is, is there anyone at Toyota from the engineering folks I can call to tell the dealer what your experience taught Them?

There's some threads about 13's with collapsed filler necks. Have them check out the filler neck by scoping it and see if it screwed up. There was a thread on this just a couple months ago

I have to take it elsewhere, the dealer I went to is being super unclear about how they diagnosed that it's the gas tank and telling me either I replace it or I take the car and pay 300 for diagnostic charge, gonna go meet with the service manager today. I dropped it off asking to look at filler neck specifically but, they won't even tell me if they scoped it to see if that's ok/eliminate that possibility. They're refusing to do any research, so I think I need to find another mechanic or get someone to refer me to a dealer that's done this repair before
