It wasn't... two cars crashed that weekend. The BMW hit the inside of turn 1, he hit the outside of turn 2

Actually, the BMW owner is on these forums NOW.
I wasn't planning on doing GP anyway though.

I will be out for the TMP event! Camber bolts (top and bottom) are in hand as well as rear control arms. Camber plates are en route but might not arrive in time. Wheels should arrive tomorrow. Tires to follow on Wednesday/Thursday (RS4's in 245 and 255 will be test fit, may as well take pictures while I'm at it).

Welcome back Jesse! Will be good to see you back in the fold.

Don't forget to resubmit based on your new car. I'll need it for scoring and timing.

Thanks.

Kev

I've created 2, just haven't submitted them since I'm not sure if I'll actually get the alignment done in time or not. Maybe I should just submit it with the alignment and take the hit for the pips even if I don't get it.

Submit as how you will run it (assume alignment won't get done in time) and if you do get alignment, tell John and myself and I'll modify your PI in time.

Hey, at least you're honest and don't leave it last minute.

Will and I know just how many people go "oops! I had to submit?"

Kev

Just submitted a new one with the camber because I got it all done!

Managed to fit RS4 255's on the beast too! 17x9, final offset 35, 3* camber with the stock struts and springs using camber plates, for anyone on the board wondering.

Can't wait to see you back out there.

So that went well...
Goodbye engine just a couple laps in. Looks like I'm out of funds for the season though I may come out to spectate.

I hear there may be an oil consumption recall that may get me a new engine. Need to swing by the dealership this afternoon and see what I can find out.

Thank you to all those who helped me out in various different ways including shoving my busted car around.

You can look up recalls that apply to your car by using the online recall lookup tool and your VIN. This looks like it might be the one someone mentioned to you?

The majority of FA20 oil issues lately are from issues after the valve spring recall was performed (most common is sealant clogging the oil pickup screen), or too much heat in the oil and pressure dropping (oil cooler and/or thicker oil controls that).

Sorry to hear about it

Hopefully you can get something out of it with the dealership.

What a shitty situation...
