Seen brand new ones on the yard with this problem. I'd say they'll replace the gasket behind the lamp under warranty. Had similar issues with 40 series Camry. Silly design if you ask me.

I found the gaskets to be the issue - the stock ones are crap. They're too thin and aren't a very good material.

I made my own gaskets (for the same stock housings that had massive amounts of condensation with the stock gaskets) and I haven't had any more issues.

Here's my DIY: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26217

Our demo GTS at work has had 1 pair of tail lights replaced under warrany for condensation and now about 5 weeks after that the passenger side tail light has got condensation in it again. Warranty claim has been lodged for this also.

If anyone experiences codensation inside their light housings i suggest you contact your selling dealer (or closest dealer if you bought your car interstate or a long distance away) and request for a booking for a warranty claim inspection. It is a known issue.

One of mine is faulty, i reckon i could grow tropical plants in there.

I haven't had a chance to get to the dealer yet, was waiting for my 15,000km service (just hit 10,000km)

i am hoping they will let me keep the old tail light though, want to see what i can do to mod it..

The faulty light needs to be retained to validate the warranty claim.
