Oil question..

Reached 7500miles and did the oil change.. took some oil after driving it 100 miles and it's like an old oil already? is this normal? I compared it to my leftover oil and is way too different in color!

It doesn't take long for oil to start to change color, especially if the old oil was pretty dark.

Oil color is not indicative of oil health or performance.

The old oil never drains out completely. The fresh dispersant in the new oil will also allow any residual oil to mix into the new oil more easily, as that is what dispersant does, keeping stuff in suspension so that it doesn't drop out and create sludges. As stated in a previous response the colour of oil new, or used is not an indicator of quality or serviceability.
