Yep, back-in-the-day ....... a lot of cars "burnt oil". It was easier and cheaper to just add a quart of oil every now and then ........ than to tear the engine down and replace the piston rings. I'll betcha ol @Ultramaroon had old cars, that more stuff came out of the crankcase breather tube than out of the tail pipe....... I know ol @Tcoat did ........ folks could track him, by the cloud of blue smoke that his cars left........ humfrz |
