I have the EVS exhaust. I was happy with it until it started to melt my rear bumper as I couldn't get it to perfectly fit in the exhaust cutout. It wasn't touching the bumper, just close enough that the heat caused the bumper area to become deformed when I did trackdays/autocross. Some other people have the exhaust and I haven't heard any issues from them about this. Here's a vid of the exhaust note which i think is quite good.

Really? Deform? That's crazy! Any other exhaust mods or just only EVS exhaust?

Nope, just the EVS. The deformation is only around the exhaust cutout area and only happened when I did hard driving (track, etc). I counteracted this by just taking the tip off (it's removable).

Did you decide yet?

I'm currently looking at single-exit exhausts as well, there doesn't seem to be a lot of threads floating around though... a compilation would be nice :P

http://www.tanabe-usa.com/conceptg.asp?id=8#

I got my eye on this one right now.

Didn't see that one yet.

I dig it, definitely a contender.

You thought about a Tomei exhaust?

Tomei is nice, but a lot of ppl have it. That's the only reason I don't like it

Aye..

Can't find too much info about the HKS or Tanabe, mainly worried about g-clearence. Plan on dropping about an inch.

I ordered a nameless track pipe with a 5" muffler and 4" tip not too long ago. Have you tried checking that out?

I'll definitely put up videos once I get it, I have ofh+2.5 nameless op/fp (catless/resonated) so we'll see what's up.

Better than Tomei. You can find it in FT86SF & Evassive

Went with the Tomei type 80 mainly because of the weight reduction. You cant go wrong with a 15lb exhaust that sounds amazing

Don't you get better g-clearence on driver's side than passengers side. Thats the way it looks at least from looking at the underbody.
