yes I was talking about the IAT sensor kit sold be FA20 club;

It is a GM IAT sensor

Just doesn't get a good flow of charged air over the sensor.

Our own IAT kit does work very well, Kodename has posted up a log for your information;

We was back on the dyno yesterday with our car with more work.

found more torque and slowly reducing the torque dip.

Would you guys be able to post some logs of maybe a few repeated pulls with the IAT sensor, everyone keeps saying the intercooled kit is prone to horrible heat soak but no ones been able to give logs and i'm curious how true it is.

When I get a bit of time I'll go and beast the car and get some logs for you, I've been fine tuning my car so that log was just data collecting rather than full on aggressive running. I'll also be slapping on a 70mm pulley soon so will be able to get some CAT comparison.

^what khorne said.

From the logs kodename47 posted it looks like the IAT go up with high RPM pulls but the temps go down quickly. I would like to see repeated pulls to see if the temps continue to fluctuate or start to slowly build higher and higher and if so after how many repeated pulls and/or how much time.

Thanks again @Kodename47 for the great info that has been lacking on this kit and thanks to Abbey for making it possible with this sensor.

I have the innovate with 70mm pulley and ran it on the track several times 20-35min sessions and my best laps were near the end of the sessions. I haven't noticed the widely accepted heat soak issue many claim but I also don't run any IAT sensor post charger to confirm.
