P0140 Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Help

Hey Guys,

Just got this code and was wondering if anyone had some advice as to what to check or look for. Possible causes?

Some back ground on the Vehicle.

13 BRZ with about 78K on it.

Recently installed OFH and flashed stage 2 about 4-500 miles ago.

Car started kind of funny and had the CEL come on. After a short drive i checked the code using my OFT and it said no codes showing.

Reset my battery, drove to the store and back no CEL

Went out later on, started driving, light came back on, stopped checked code, got P0140 as shown in the description. cleared code, hasnt come back on yet.

Im wondering if its possibly a bad 02 sensor? It seems the code is saying it not detecting the sensor.

Thanks.

Any thoughts would be great.

Have either of you checked to make sure the sensor wires and intact and connected properly to the harness? Any other mechanical updates in either case before the issues started?

you can very well disable those dtc and also disable the secondary sensor by zeroing the Af#3 tables
People with flex or whoever hooks up aftermarket sensor to the o2 input, do it all the time, all the people i Tuned have thst sensor disabled in tune

in romraider there are 2 tables called A/F#3 limits, put them all to 0
then disable DTC: P0037,P0038,P0137,P0138,P0140,P0141
Done

I’m not too experienced with rom raider and I can’t find the A/F #3 tables, the only two I see both say A/F #1. Do you know where I could find them?

A few weeks ago I had my turbo installed. For the last few years was running un catted UEL headers and the stage 2 OFT tune. Using the base tune for my kit until my ecutek arrives. I’ve had no codes for the first month of FI. This morning p0240 popped up.

I was told I could use tactrix(my base tune is running off it) to clear the code. The Instructions above about RomRaider are pretty much the same? Or would i be looking at different paths and values.

Sorry I’m not to experienced with tuning but I’m trying to learn.

My tuner told me I would be able to do this in tactrix but I can’t find any sort of step by step instructions.

Thank you in advance.
