This is only my third kit and the difficulty level has taken quite a jump from the last one, so I'd love to follow your build for some of your techniques. Still waiting on my paint to come in the mail anyways.

If it happened on your shift, the list of suspects is small (recalling how many people actually work nights).

If it happened on day shift, you'll never catch them Damn daywalkers.

That is all I do most winters for the last 10 years or so and I have about 120 built ones scattered around the house on any flat surface capable of holding them. Have given about 20 away to friends and places like the Legion and have done about another 10 or so paid commissions. That doesn't count the 30 or so unbuilt "I have to do that one some day" kits crammed in half our closets.
I have the exact same kit (only in the FRS) to build but have two I must finish for people first. It is indeed a very advanced kit compared to most car models.

Those are amazing Tcoat. I probably built 40-50 1/48 scale WWII aircraft as a kid. Some repeats, almost all Monogram, which are fairly basic kits. At least, they were back then.

This is the same old Monogram Lightning kit that many of us old guys built as a kid. I bet you built this very kit. I built it out of the box (no extras) but focused on the paint and weathering. It was one of the commissions I did for a guy.

I sure did Tcoat. Mine looked liked it just rolled out of the factory, all shiny.

I didn't get into weathering them and making them more realistic until I was 15-16, or so. Then I was out on my own. I haven't touched one since.

My collection was donated to 826 AC Squadron in Hamilton.
