-SS lines -Ducktail Spoiler -Member Brace Set (if it is the same as what was on the Ring car, and not too expensive) The rest don't seem worth the ridiculous price I'm sure they will want for them. Aftermarket will have better options. |

Absolutely loving that spoiler! Very subtle and not in your face like the huge wing spoiler. And the FT86 looks much better in this brochure than the other ones, probably because the lines are more evident.

Yea that spoiler looks sexy and the sway bars and tower braces are probably going to be necessary to counteract the under steer. I am not sure how true this is but... I heard from a buddy of mine who races alot, that the factories set up the car for understeer because it is easier for the everyday person to control. Hopefully a little camber adjustments will take care of that.

Sorry for the stupid question, but being new to after market kits, does the fact that it gets painted in the store/dealership, if you do not get black or white, present any issues? Will they be able to really match it up ? Would be curious as to your feedback, as I am think about metallic dark grey with this type of kit, but am afraid of color match issues.

I'm guessing you add all of the listed parts, plus Aluminum control arms from the STi (since the suspension is impreza based, I wouldn't be surprised if they are a direct bolt on) and a couple of other weight saving tidbits, maybe the ridiculous giant spoiler we saw on the Nurburgring car, and that's what the BRZ STi will be.

This looks awesome, love that front bumper especially... and the spoiler... I tend to prefer to keep my cars stock but so long as they aren't too ridiculously overpriced then I might be tempted!

I think a lot will depend on the price for me but id rather get a factory body kit that I think is subtle and meant for the car and matches the paint perfectly right off the bat then have to do it later.

With a bit of research you can find out which major aftermarket tuning company makes anything offered by Lexus (save for the c/f engine cover) and can buy AND install it for almost 1/2 the price! ...p.s. I'm not feeling that rear chunk of plastic over the rear diffuser and 4 exhaust tips? Really?? Who's in for a single blue tipped disign? |

They do set cars up from the factory for understeer. It's safer for those who aren't as experienced in handling oversteer as others. Alignment can often fix it as can suspension tuning (change roll center, anti sway bar, spring rates, etc).

WOW, that looks awesome!
Judging by the TC TRD parts and adding some on because this is a new car at a higher price point, we can probably figure something along the lines of this: TRD Exhaust:800-900 Suspension:1600 Aero: 500 for the front, 500 rear and, 800 sides. Hopefully a package will offer them all. Wheels:2000+ |
