Shared the road with this today...

Only the 3rd one I have seen in this area. Followed it to a Tim Hortons and took some pics. The driver said he had 3 supras, mk1, 2 and 3. Over 600hp at the wheels and certainly seemed like it on the road.

Love the MKIV; is still a dream car of mine.

However, I wish you asked more about the MKI. I don't believe I've once seen a single MKI in my life.

I like the 1st-gen Celica-Supra. There was a careworn yet complete example in the Chelan wrecking yard for years, as well as three ratty old 1st and 2nd-gen Celicas. That wrecking yard was demoslished about fifteen years ago to make room for a new housing development. I wonder if someone would have resurected that old Celica-Supra by now if it hadn't all gone away? I think I just like how modest they look. And pretty uncommon now.

You know what? This guy has the single most important mod for the MKIV: a cupholder.

It looks to me like he removed the stock ashtray and shoved his drink in the square hole.

For non-Canadians, that stuff in the cup is Tim Hortons coffee, ie. liquid meth. I drink the frozen version, feels like a NOS shot to my brain stem. Speaking of which, the owner had an unplumbed NOS tank and a racing fuel cell under the deck in back and was expecting over 800 hp when these were connected. The guy was in his mid 50s and had owned this car over 10 years. Not surprising, he said his previous S2000 would out handle the Supra. A definite car guy.
If an RX-7 (FD) and a 300zx would have pulled into the lot at the same time, I would have probably shit my pants with a little help from the TH coffee.

Timeless, not so sure. The cornerless dove soap bar look screams 90's car design.

Love the 90s design ethos. That supra had the sexiest ass I have seen on the highway since I glimpsed that woman taking a wizz behind her pick-up.
