Knock on wood, but I haven't dinged up the wheels on my BRZ. Most of my other cars, yes. But not the BRZ. I guess I don't drive it hard enough even though I drive it harder than my other cars..

That SUCKS! I'm sorry; I have done that to my fair share (ok more than my fair share) of wheels.

This may make you feel better.....

I spent 3 hours waiting at the DMV yesterday to re-register my truck after getting it rebuilt. When the guy from the DMV went out to inspect my truck, a paper parking slip approx 2" x 3" fell down the crack of the windshield and blocked the view of the vin. I tried a folded piece of paper; I could touch the slip, but not move it out of the way. The DMV was closing in minutes and I didn't have anything else that could move the paper out of the way with. I was literally stating to panic a bit at this point. The guy watched me for a minute or two and then went back inside commenting that "now I've seen everything." I got back in my truck and said a few choice words I'm not going to type.

Once I got home, it only took 2 minutes with a piece of wire hanger. Now I have to go back and give them $235 to re-register my totaled / rebuilt truck.

Yeah, but that's more from hard parking.

I don't have one, but if it looks like the max capacity of a roof rack is under 200lbs. I figure these boards were 70-80lbs each. Green fir 12"x2"x16'. So I could do two at a time and four trips. No, that won't work. At 70lbs each, 560lbs total, they'll fit into the weight limit of the Forester, but with the weight hanging so far off the back, the center of gravity of over 500lbs would sit behind the bumper, and the car has a max tongue weight of 176lbs. So...

My MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe arrived. I also received: a spool of 12awg wire, fuse block, lighted rocker switches, pressure switches to activate lights when a cabinet opens, inside and outside temp sensors, 12v 120cfm small fan, and 12v outlets.

Going to start wiring tonight... Wish me luck!

driving to the Dr on a small 2 lane road with deep ditches on either side. some crossover sized SUV in front of me going through a turn. car goes around the corner and right over the concrete brick in the road. I didn't have time to react nor a place to dodge to so I tried my best to avoid it while not sending it through my bumper that I just got replaced along with my radiator and hopefully nothing more(hi oil pan). so I caught the edge of it with the wheel mid turn. I looked in the rear view mirror to see it was nothing but powder so I was hopeful that I had just killed it. I was wrong.

these wheels are NOT cheap.
