sorry for the loss brother,most of the burning happens due to wiring issues.if insurance don't give you a full coverage file a case against toyota. hope you will win if nothing wrong in your side especially any mods.

Was the car stock?

I've heard flex fuels can leak, cuz they're so flexy and not like normal fuels.
