I'd like to be in a position to consider an LS engine swap a "basic/easy/cheap" mod.

My next planned upgrades are JR supercharger and oil cooler after the winter. I am skipping everything else until I see a need to support the super charger. I might just get a TRD catback to have a little bit growl that is lost after removing all sound tubes. But even that will wait until hearing the sound with JRSC.

In short, I recommend to be conservative and cautious. This is a very good sports car as itself, don't screw it.
Be conservative. Make FI your second mod.

Yup. Sounds about right.

Aw come on, hasn't there been someone you just wanted to send into a fury? It can be so fun to just start in on the "space shuttle missions were faked in a studio," bologna just to annoy the crap out of certain annoying people. Then when you tell them nasa started the entire conspiracy they go even crazier. You can get them so mad they get angry at you when you tell the actual factual truth. It is wondrous.

Combine all other power mods including the kitchen sink and compare the result with a supercharger upgrade alone such as JRSC. To me, JRSC alone is less intrusive (more reliable), and yields so much more power. Yep, sounds right to me. If you don't agree, that is fine, have it your way.

When I got my car, I got it used with 2 mods already on it. Injen intake and an mxp exhaust. If I was you, I'd do lots of research before buying stuff for your car. In my opinion, first mod id get is tires. Get something sticky. Focus more on getting used to the car. I've had my car for 4 months now and I still have lots to learn about it. People say go forced induction and yes that's a great mod. Probably the best but if you do go FI, you need to build everything around it. Better tires, better springs/ coilovers, maybe some engine compartments depending on how much boost ur adding. A turbo and a tune will cost a lot too! I've driven my friends boosted frs with an hks kit and it's awesome! But he's still on stock tires and it doesn't grip for shit. Mine feels a lot safer. At the end of the day do what makes you happy
