Stock pads should last over 100k miles depending on driving habits. When I recently changed mine out at ~61k miles they were only a little over half worn, could have probably lasted near 110k miles. Went with new pads and rotors anyways because the stock pads don't have enough bite for me when slowing down quickly on stickier than stock tires... always felt a little lacking and requiring more effort than should be necessary in the last 1/3 when they should be grabbing more at the slower speed and you should start easing off the brake pressure when coming to a stop/near stop.

Learn to read, kid.
I never said the pads were bad. Just checking them all hidden under a caliper. Never seen a brake system like this.

How can stock pads not be enough for you, when you have tons of meat left on your pads at 60k? Either you drive really really slowly, or mostly drive highway ?

Let me guess, you are one of those guys who drives while always resting your other foot on the brake peddle, right?
