I'm surprised you haven't had any cold tranny 2nd gear issues. I've gotten to the point to were I don't even try for it and go strait to 3rd.

Hey guys. I recently got an asphalt frs auto. I'm in lafayette. I was pleased to find this thread. I read most of the old posts, and its cool you guys meet up for rides. If anybody in laffy want to cruise around, that'd be cool. I'm interested in doing some if the autox, but never have before.

Glad to have another person, the more the better! We have a car meet Thursday nights at Saigon Noodles on Ambassabor around 7:30-8 till whenever. its been alot of people doing stupid stuff lately but most the time its a pretty welcoming small group. Next autocross event you are more than welcome to caravan with me to if you like. Will help you get settled in and show ya around!

ThAnks man! You don't by chance have a white brz with with after market rims do you? I parked next to one last week. It had the muffler unbolted. I wanted to hear it bad but didnt wait around to long. I work till about 9:45 Thursday ill drive by when I get off

That was me! I totally watched you park next to me.. I was sitting outside at the Coffee shop haha. It was unbolted but because it stopped inside the bumper it droned horribly. I put it back on till I get my track pipe. It sounds pretty awesome otherwise. Its not loud at all either.

Yeah, I go to the bulldog Wednesday nights for dollar burgers sometimes.

I just replaced the back speakers with a pair of pioneer 2 ways. 50$ at best buy. Took me about an hour and a half. I just had to trim some of the factory bracket. It sounds amazing compared to the factory speaker. I'm actually tempted to put much bigger and fabricate a mount. I read a lot of threads that say don't even bother with the back speakers, but I must say they are very wrong. I think I'm gonna put a 6.5" back there. Once you open it, which wasn't hard at all, you'll see you have a ton o room to work with.
