JDL UEL turbo kit, 3" JDL Dual Resonator Ultra Quiet FP, and a 3" Dezod. So pretty close!

Here's my second BlackStone Lab oil analysis. So far so good. I should probably get one more after these last couple of months since I saw a few track days.

Cool, it sounds great. How loud would you say that setup is compared to my catless JDL UEL, stock OP/FP, and Perrrin 2.5" resonated? I imagine quite a bit louder, even with the turbo muffling? |

Granted my back seats were down as my car was filled with a bunch of tools so that makes it louder than usual. I couldn't imagine if I had to do a 5-6 hour road trip though with the back seats down. What's keeping your noise level down is your stock frontpipe; once you replace that thing, your noise will go up. that was the last piece I replaced when I was NA, and when I replaced it even with a catted and resonated version of the JDL over front pipe it was way louder. I don't mind it though. I love the way my car sounds. The videos don't really articulate the exhaust note as the mic is in the engine bay close to the turbo. So the exhaust really has a deep tone. I should probably create a video for that so people car hear what it really sounds like.

Good point, I left that out. Updated first post to state that. Thanks!
I copied it here for your convenience: -3 Front -2 Rear 0 Toe All around This is most likely subject to change as time goes on, I may be adding more front and rear camber. Possibly doing a -3.5 in the front and -2.5 in the back, and possibly changing toe to something. Still need to do more research. In addition, at a certain point alignment specs become more of a personal preference.

If I had the money, I'd have two sets of wheels. One for DD and one for track. Then I'd build myself a small tow trailer for my tools and extra set of tires.

I'm also DD'ing this car so I'm not going to change toe any to keep tire longevity. Thanks for the help! |

StopTech C43 BBK
So I decided that I needed to get a real set of brakes and get rid of my STi Brembos that I've been tracking for awhile. For awhile I was debating back and forth between CSG Spec Brembo Brakes or the AP racing sprint kit. After doing more researching and asking around I stumbled upon a new brake kit that hasn't been officially released yet, but has been out in testing. The StopTech C43 Big Brake Kit.
I went ahead and ordered the C43 Stoptech Big Brake Kit. These will be released as soon as they are debut at SEMA. Calipers are roughly 4lbs each side. Rotors are roughly 10-11lbs each side. Rotors are sized at 309mm x 32mm. They also come with the SR33 StopTech Pads as well as Stainless Steel brake lines for the front. I am SUPER excited and can't wait to get these on and try them out during next season.

What reasons did you choose the Stoptech kit over the AP racing setup?

Otherwise without pricing in mind, more importantly the rotor is larger with the stoptech kit. So there's more thermal capacity. 299mm AP racing vs. a 309mm stoptech. I know this is very minor, but also the stoptech kit comes with 21mm pads vs. no pads with the AP racing. I'm not very pad specific, so it was a plus that these came with their own pads. Also there is a pad size difference of 1mm. Stoptech being 21mm and AP being 20mm. I know extremely minute, but it's still a difference. TLDR: Pre-order Pricing, bigger rotor, came with pads, and stainless steel lines. I assume once they are announced at SEMA they will be full price which is be around 2300 just googling "C43 stoptech" and finding links for the s2000 or miata versions.
