It's too cold to loiter, but not too cold to go to Top Karting. I'll be there with a friend at around 915 or so. Receptionist said it's not super busy, yet.

OEM Rims with winter tires on

Since I won't be needing anymore. Thought I'd sell the rims and tires for $300.00 I'd say a good deal.

Thanks Slick.
Best car I've had and I love the community but if we're looking at going down to just one car, then we'll have to keep the wagon and let the FRS go... for now

Hi Guys,
Looking to help out a customer and fellow local 86'er.

His car was damaged recently and Otto's Subaru is refusing to mount a set of 205/50R17 winters on his car, cause they're not OEM size (don't get me started).
I offered to loan my winter set so he can get the work finished and leave Otto's, but my tires are also 205/50R17.

So, wondering if someone in our community has either a winter or summer set of OEM 215/45R17's mounted on FT86 wheels, that he could temporarily put on the car so he can get the work completed there or at least drive away and bring the car somewhere else. (his wheels were also damaged in the accident)

Holla if you can help out.

Once we get the car out of there, we can fit a new set of 205/50R17 that I have already waiting for him at the shop.

I only have 2 OEM wheels here in Ottawa, I don't think it'll help. But if that can help, let me know!

Tire help

Sorry I'd loan you my stocks but I just finished putting them on my car for the long winter nap.
I did that once before already for another member this year though

Interested in hearing the story from the dealership, though.

Customer needed snows so I delivered a set of 205/50R17 Blizzaks to the dealer. They wouldn't install them cause "wrong size".

I challenged them to explain why since they are an approved alternate size, then he just said "only OEM size is approved by Subaru and they won't install them".

Think they are just miffed that they are not selling new wheels and tires and we had the audacity to bring them a set for them to mount. I told the service advisor they were being idiots, so they don't like me much now.
