Do you know if there are updated B01C definitions too?

Thanks!

you're in luck. I have b01c as well. I took the def Steve posted to first page of V4 release thread and adjusted to allow me to modify the generic v4 tune.

I think those are still the old def's of the v1.x tunes. Since then alot of tables have been discovered.

This is a B01C:
B01C V4 def
But it's probably the same as bababooey's upload.
Same principle, only for V4 tune and remove any other B01C def.

Any way to get the car to pop with the overrun method while in neutral? i changed base idle timing (neutral) to -8 from 2500 onwards, but no pops

+2.5 @ 4500
0 @ 5500

This produces some nice burbles, but also still some harder pops if you really want to. Sweet spot seemed to be around 3-3.5k rpm, so around +6 I assumed, so:
Then I tried +6 constant, which was to loud in the low revs
Also tried +10 constant, which was very nice in the low revs, but didnt produce any sounds above 5k rpm, so it seems the sound differs with RPM also, even if keeping the timing constant. For now I'll settle with the +10 +5 +2.5 0 settings posted above, might try something like +10 +5 +5 +5 or so in the future, but don't think it will make that much of a difference.
Are you still running this setup? Would you be able to post a video of how it sounds? Sorry if you have and I missed it.

Does anyone have a v4 OFT A01G modified for A00C (BRZ USDM)?

If not, can't i just change the calid in hexeditor/dreamweaver, save it, and use that as the definition file? Do I have to change the "make" "model" in it as well or can i just leave it as Toyota GT86?

I've been running +5 from 2500 rpm for the last 6 months, works like a charm and produces a nice pop. However friends tried the same, but got almost nothing (on stock exhaust) or super loud pops on exhausts with less dampening, so it really seems to depend on setup, I have a video somewhere, will share it soon

In your experience, does the +5 from 2500 produce more pops, and the +10, +5, +2.5, 0, more burbles?

ive been using -5 to -10 this whole time. I may have to go to the positive to see the reaction.

This is -5 , higher frequency of pops and also the sound is higher tone, popcorn:

This is +5 on a dyno, lower frequency and a lower tone, more a burble/fart than a pop:

Results will vary per exhaust setup. I'm using a catless UEL and a high flow cat in the front pipe, resonated mid pipe and aftermarket (custom) axle back.

V4 A00C

If editing a def file, use notepad++ . It has code-coloring, makes it easier to read and edit.
Make and model doesn't matter, you can put in "Pink unicorn" and it will work.

As said before, only for V4 tunes and remove old definitions in RomRaider or you will brick your ECU.

Dank je
@bababooey I've noticed the negative values at higher rpms produce a sharp pop. Similar to a gun shot.
