With helmet:
10-15 minutes, we can have everyone drive 2-wide on either edge of track, and do a fast photo op at Corkscrew without anyone getting out of car. This would be done essentially as a one-off parade lap to save time.

Let's talk about this before the event. As long as NCRC is open to letting this happen we will work with them to make it a safe and fun opportunity.

Looks like you've done this before, so we'll leave it to the experienced of the track to get us on and off the track quickly as to not disturb the other patrons. Like you mentioned, stage during the session before lunch, nearest the track entrance . Great idea!

I am not signed up for the event, but am willing to head out there for a pic like that. Especially if the weather holds up.
Sounds like a party! Would be an awesome site to get as many FRS/BRZ owners out there that day, but I dunno too many that would trek to Monterrey that early enuf to be in the pic. However, we have had spectators come along for the day just to enjoy the company. Maybe attendance should go up. Maybe we can beat SoCal by one car

There's already a large group of SoCal guys going up for 12/27-28.

The key to the photo op is to use a very recogniseable portion of the track, e.g. with signage.

The Corkscrew is unfortunately not good because it's difficult to park cars there, and the chances of an accident are pretty high while parking the cars...

My vision of corkscrew doesn't involve a parked photo op, rather it involves a parade lap.

The track is wide enough to where we can be two-wide, with each row of cars hugging either sides of the track.

Drive 5MPH down the corkscrew. Take videos.

Fin.

Might be tough, but between turn 3-4 under the tire bridge would be good...

I think to keep it simple and not take too much time (NCRC won't be happy if we take more than the alotted time and cause a delay in the sessions) the front straight is best. It also has the distinctive signage "Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca" that we'd want.

(facing the wrong way down the track, but you get the idea)

Facing the wrong way is quickest, since we can go out the hot pit, U-turn onto the straight backward, and re-enter by Turn 10 or 11.

NCRC does allow photo taking before. In June, they use the lunch time at THill to do the couple photos, and it took the whole lunch break.
@MyRx if you check with Dave or Luke, i think they will be ok letting us do that... just gotta make sure everyone know what time

That will work too.

Now, we will need all the 86 Cup drivers to get Lambo doors before the event, mm'kay?

However - wherever you guys see fit.

Just orchestrate it in the time allowed, 10-15 min window during the start of lunch.
