When wet it positively shrieks on the drivers side. Don't use the passenger side enough to find out but I assume it is the same
Seems louder than the video unfortunately.

Seeing as I need to open the window every morning for getting in to work... it's a bit annoying!

Anyone get a fix for this?

Did anyone get a fix for this window issue? I just have about 1000 miles only on my new FRS and the drivers side is squeaking as the window goes up and down.

I can also see 2 rectangular stripes on the exterior of the window leading me to believe that there some rubbing somewhere inside the door.

Any advice appreciated.

Exact same issue. After it rains, i get the 2 rectangles of water marks. Only had the squeaking once so far and it went away as it dried up.

squeky windows

i have owned my new frs for less then a week , already dealing with a few annoyences, woke up this morning to frozen windows , hoping someone has had an issue like mine, once i was able to get into my car and start it up i noticed both the AUTO lights for the 2 window button on the d/s door were flashing, the d/s window was frozen but if i tried to roll it down it would not move , it tried but couldnt , the p/s would not even try to work , so as i drove to work with the heat cranked the d/s window eventually started to roll down but the auto setting would not work at all so i had to hold the button to make the window move, also the p/s window still wouldnt do anything, like it was dead, after work everything seems to work fine other then now my d/s window squeels like crazy,

hoping someone has had an issue like this, would love some input please and thank u

That's how they're supposed to function.

Brought mine to the dealer. The gasket gets caught on the glass at the top center. It causes the gasket to roll, instead of smoothly sliding by. When the window is wet, it makes an awful "grunching" sound of rubber sticking, then releasing against the glass. Dealer agreed to replace the gasket.

Has the new gasket helped at all? Any more squeeking/freezing/strips of water or anything of the sort?

Huge difference. It squeaks once in a while, but no longer folds in on itself.
