There's no doubt, @Visconti and @fa20club.com are both getting a ton of experience from all the tunes they are pushing out. It really helps their learning curve compared to other tuners.

@StormTrooper

Fixed.

When I dumped it on photobucket they resized it. I'll tweak that later.

curious why you chose to start the run after 3000 rpm....i would assume little to no gains in that region but i'm curious if there are any significant loses before 3k.

Thanks

There was a large discussion about that earlier, but basically, I didn't want to repeatedly bog the engine while doing a ton of pulls. This is my DD and I want it to last a while. The main target was dip elimination. Realistically, I cant recall the last time I shifted into 4th at 2k rpm, then went WOT.

I did do a full pull on e85 for the people who were bringing that up. You can see, it looks fine, no dip.

So now that P&L has their recordings posted i was curious how this sounds compared to your Perrin exhaust. Do the Perrin pipes tame some of the volume and harshness out of the exhaust note that is heard in the videos? Or is all that sound change from the P&L catted headers, with my car being a DD for now I am not sure i could lived with that.

I would say that it's a combination of things. It's not the loudest exhaust on the market, but the audio in the video isn't spectacular imho either. I think it sounds great in person.

When I fired it up on sunday at the meet, several guys came over from across the lot to check it out and commented on how it sounds. To each their own however.

Edit: On a side note, another local guy has the SRT exhaust. On it's own it sounded great, but once the header was added to the equation he found it unlivable for his daily driving. He's getting rid of it, and going with the full P&L exhaust.

P&L catted header with the SRT catback

Well, here is some loud for you. I can't wait to kick the SRT catback to the curb. In some ways it sounds awesome but it's just a bit much for me

Right now, I have the catted P&L header, overpipe, catless front pipe, and a dual resonated SRT catback. Believe me when I say the added resonator helps a lot with cabin noise.
Saturday, the SRT will be swapped out for the P&L Motorsports Street Series catback.
I have a Visconti STG1 tune, but it is not yet calibrated for the header.

Enyoy...

So it would probably be what I'm after as I hate loud exhausts on slow cars.
