Again, I suggest a touch form-in-place sealant go along with the o-ring. A tiny bit goes a long way.

Does look like a lot of porosity in that casting.
There may be voids in the side of the dip tube hole after machining it.

NOT epoxy! Use RTV to fill voids where it may seep past the o-ring.

Brought it in for service and the dipstick o ring was replaced under warranty.

They replaced it without draining the oil though. Jsut curious because I was hoping they'd change the oil for free haha, but doesn't seem like it so I'll do that soon.
