Are spacers safe for track use?

Just don't go cheap. Get a good brand hub centric spacer - whether you track your car or not.

How much of a pain is it to install extended studs?

If you have the proper tools. Easy. Hardest part for me was the rear. Had to remove the hub from the axle. But the fronts i kept on. I have a specialty tool that has a bearing to help put studs on.

I used to use a socket and open ended lug nut which tool forever.

There is a write up/DIY on this forums on how to do so.

I feel like this is a much better/safer way to do spacers, I am just not sure if I am capable of doing this. I am very mechanically inclined, but I just can't have my car down for more then a few hours.

I'm guessing that it would be ok to put 25mm on all corners with stock wheels while going to 225/45-17 tires, right? I still have stock suspension and will for at least a year.

6speed_Sam Are your 15mm front spacers bolt on? If so, who makes them?

My buddy with 20mm/25mm spacers (don't know the brand) had his FR-S reposted by Scion on their IG and twitter!
