I used one of these to mount the V1: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=111008963525
It's reasonably well made and holds the radar detector pretty securely.

I pretty much followed this guide, except for a few exceptions listed below: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ght=invisicord

I used the V1 hard-wiring kit included with the V1 since it has a fuse and is able to power accessories. I cut the T-tap and ground bolt-eye off of it and soldered on some homemade pins (like on an Invisicord).

I currently have the long flat cable that came with the V1 stuffed up in the headliner and I ran it down next to the mirror power cord. I'll probably put in a shorter cable if I decide to add any accessories (I'm thinking about the bluetooth module.)

Had it washed today and polished up the tires for a black glossy look. Garaging it for a week because it's gonna rain in Seattle the week of march 11th. Don't want the car getting dirty Not like my legacy, normal Subarus are meant to be dirty.
Please post more pics of how it looks on blue! I'm considering these tails too!

Got to give a nod to Japanparts.com Can't believe how fast my STI exhuast tips arrived!

They are very nice quality Subaru parts and are perfect to fill the gap left in the diffuser and above the wing by the small stock exhaust tips. and at a very good price.

Think I will order the Gurney flap and some Alcantra interior parts now that I see how reliable Japanparts.com is and the prices are pretty fair overall.
