I'll let some of the TIY on this thread chime in, but I doubt you'll slip the clutch even with a custom tune and CBE. Full headers and back...custom tune... I still doubt you'll slip... But I haven't gotten to that point yet with my kit. Soon though... soon

I'm on the stock clutch with the CARB Tune Kit, which I believe is a very conservative tune and I have NO clutch problems.

Being in PA you won't need a CARB tune kit. So I would spend my money on a damn good tune and an exhaust. I doubt you'll need a clutch...
@sklimo chime in my friend. You've got the beast! I'm still on the CARB Tune. Me need MOORREE POWER!

I ugraded my clutch and flywheel knowing I'd be going over 300whp.

Not 100% sure what the stock can handle, but I didn't want to take any chances

Do you guys have loud chirping noise coming from the supercharger? Mine gets so loud it sound like bad squeaky brakes. Seems to occur randomly at idle and on the throttle. I watched CSG Mikes startup vid and his sounds like a factory car. Mine is extremely noisy.

This is just the beginning of my problems (not to blame Jackson at all) thus far, but I'll get into that later.

Is there enough rotrex fluid for the SC?

Yes, the fluid was topped off.

Improper installation of lines, which caused the SC to get no oil, thus killing it. The folks responsible are taking care of it thankfully. I had a bad feeling as soon as I heard the chirping because it was really really loud.

Oh ok that sucks. At least it's being taken care of. You were almost first person to report a single problem with the kit hence curiousity lol.

Finished my installation of the tuned kit morning, along with the Radium catch can. The instructions are very good - I haven't wrenched before this spring. The hardest part was reinstalling the bumper.

My previous NA best was 6.8 with an OFT tune (I'm not very good at launches). My 0-60 time with the SC and no other go-fast mods and similar conditions (cold) is 5.5

The response and linearity is great and the top end pull is I can't wait to try it on the track in May.

Given the Radium catch can mounts in the same location as the Rotrex Oil Reservoir which one did you relocate and how?

Anyway, is there a possibility of engine damage as a result of the SC dying due to insufficient lubrication? I was coasting to a stop at a red light around 15-20mph when my dash lights came on and the car died. I also did not rev the car above 3k during my brief drive because I was in an urban area and it was raining steadily. No I did not hit any big puddles either.

I worry that the people who are responsible for this mess might blame any additional problems that may arise on the manufacturer or myself.

the fact that the sc locked due to no oil, there is a very high probability that residue from the torn sc blades may have gotten sucked in your engine. i check your dipstick for metal shards and if the sc is still installed i would check the tubing also. i would change my oil also just incase.
