I have a feeling this will become service campaign at some point any decent dealership should have no problem taking care of this. I plan to stock a few at my dealer so I will be sure to keep an eye out. Anyone who is missing the grommets should take it to the dealer no reason to pay or crawl under the car to fix it. Anyway that's just my 2c-

Took it to the dealer. They're ordering them and will contact me when they have them. Put some duct tape on the holes for now.

Don't know.

Can someone post their picture with the grommet installed? I like to see if there is also a small hole on the bottom right of it. Thanks.

This thread shows me there must be a dealer service training issue. The under-body plugs were in my glovebox! I only noticed them after about the third day of ownership when I went to grab my anual to learn how to use the voicve guidance and stumbled across them. Fortunately the illustration on the bag (same as the image in the thread) was self-explanatory, so I just popped them in...

Now I need to check these strut top holes though! : / If anyone gets some specs for a plug for those, can you please share? TIA

Anyone know if this sorta dealer-intsllaled plug checklist item is common for other car makes and models? Or this something specific for the twins?

We should really set up a poll and see which dealer actually bothered to perform the PDI

My exit interview dealer person told me they didn't need to install them since it is a Florida car and we don't salt the streets....

I told them,
what about water and dirt?
what if I ever sell the car to someone in the north?

Ohh service is closed already sir.

Thats fine ill do it myself without a lift.

"pop" "pop"

There all done in under 30 secs. Was that so hard for the tech to do during the PDI?

she was left speech less lol

So doesn't this bring into question what else WASN'T done during the PDI because "Florida doesn't need it"?

I wentthrew the pre-delivery instruction manual last night and everything seemed ok for me. You may want to take a look at it yourself with your car!

Just got back from the dealer who found the plugs for the holes in the trunk above the struts.

Here's photos of the grommet in place, and the bag that it came in with the part numbers.
