Robi wanted me to drive the car and post my impression.
Put a big freaking smile on my face! It feels even faster when you get in the drivers seat and with one less body in the car. Drove it around the block a few times just now while Robi was doing my suspension ... 0 lag or hesitation just feels like a big v6. Feels like more than 50% increase in torque in the whole rev range. No dip either. His curb weight (2500) definitely makes this thing feel absurd too. |

How does it compare to a stock 370z? That would be plenty fast for most imo.

Calum's point is very clear I think. The impression anyone gets driving your car will not be similar to almost all other cars out there since E85 is not available to most plus almost no one has weight reduced the car to 2500+ driver. All that being said, I'm sure it has to be a blast! At this point I hope everyone understand and realizes people will choose whatever form of FI he/she likes and cope with whatever compromises each kit brings.

He is running more weight now as stated before: 2550 empty. My car is 2650 empty n I have just 50lbs as weight redux.

The biggest issue is cooling and top end power with a twin screw and no intercooler. If they can keep the oil temps down and have good strong pulls all the way to the top of the RPM range I will be impressed. Another issue is knock and if it has any considering the huge increase in low end torque. These are a way higher concern to me than how much weight reduction he has done. |
