I guess Pure Pricing doesn't apply to FR-S.

According to Scion's facebook the Price of the FRS will vary.

Go check it out.

I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing due to Scion negotiation rules with pure price.

Pure Pricing = what they advertise it for they sell it for.

PP = their own version of MSRP

It's basically for their target demographic who don't like to research and haggle.

Meaning individual dealers can tack on whatever market adjustment they want, as long as they sell it for what they advertise.

Yep. Go to scions site and look at the FRS section. One of the main things highlighted is the Pure Price. However with this thing starting so high if dealers add on any additional cost they will have a bunch of very nice and overpriced paper weights sitting on their lots collecting dust.

The Scion target demo doesn't like to research? I find that amusing since I'm pretty sure most 18-30 y/os research everything from what loaf of bread to which shoes to what TV to buy extensively before actually buying something.

I'll give you most of that age don't know how to or like to haggle, but there is definitely no lack of research.
