PA Emissions Questions

If your in a part of PA which has the emissions requirements I have a questions for ya. I assume we have enough members here that somebody in PA would know the answer?? so here goes.

If I go with the Afe Twisted Steel Headers w/Cat; Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ 13-15 H4-2.0L 48-36005-HC (I didn't post a link because I'm not sure what the rules are on that?) which includes a CAT. From what I understand they only do a ODBII scan - which should?? pass because it would use the same sensor as stock and be located after the cat (like stock). Am I correct on this assumption? Do we have any other requirements? (visual? some needed sticker etc???)

Thank you in advance.

I'm originally from SouthEastern, PA. Some places will do a visual inspection for 2nd cat aka under the car, other than that, it's OBD2 scan. So even if you went catless, and had it tuned, you'd be good as long as you kept the catted front pipe

Even though the header has a cat, it's not a guarantee that it won't throw a CEL. Aftermarket catted headers can and do still throw codes. If it doesn't throw the CEL, you will pass fine. If it does throw a CEL, you will not pass. If you run a tune that suppresses that CEL, you will pass.
