Fathers day Weekend Cruise

Good afternoon all. I have been thinking it is about time for a meet and cruise. Just throwing this out there but how about meeting at the island on the champlain bridge (Island Park Drive) on Saturday June 8th at around 9 am and cruise up to the Champlain lookout for some pics. Followed by a short drive to the Aylmer Marina for an early lunch. There is usually planty of parking there and they have a large patio. Weather permitting of course. I figure June 8th so some of us can use our fathers day credits to free up some time.

I will also be attending the big Miami meet this Sunday the 19th. Will take lots of pictures.

well i am pleased to announce that the gatineau park roads are all opened up now! after trying to go for a nice drive through the hills for the 3rd time now the gates were finally open! the drive was nice even though the weather was less then ideal with rain and hail at some points with some sunny breaks. I have a couple pictures but my camera wielding time was cut short by more hail and rain...

Quoting myself here... but I found the problem/solution. There is actually a setting to filter out the echo for the callers! I couldn't possibly remember how I found it, because the stereo/nav system is soooo convoluted, but when you find "echo" turn it off! The next question is..... Why would someone want an echo?

Someone suggested I turn down the radio when on the phone. There's a setting for that as well. You can decide 'how low' you want the volume to go. Odd that you'd want the volume to stay up on the radio while on the phone. I have to try to find that setting again as well. It goes down about 90% of the way, but I can still hear it slightly.

Anyway, much happier with the bluetooth calls now. If there was only a way to make it connect to the phone faster, that'd be great. But, FWP, right?

Found the settings to get rid of the echo. Pretty simple:

Home
Settings (Bottom Right)
Bluetooth Settings
Echo Cancel "ON".

MUCH better.

Sounds like a nice cruise Paul. I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make it for this one. Someone local to me bought an FR-S and I mentioned it to him as he missed the last meet. He said if I go, he may come out as well. If he does, we'll have a Hot Lava this time. Man, that colour looks sweet in the sun.

I just wanted to tell you guys I won 1st place FR-S/BRZ Class at the Carlisle, PA Performance and Style Show this past weekend

I posted pics here --> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...13&postcount=5

I beat a turbo'd black (or asphalt?) and another one I missed seeing. There was a white BRZ in the field but I guess they didn't enter for judging as it was bone-stock.

There were a few custom FR-S' that were invited but not in the running for showfield judging - a tan one, a turquoise one and a red one. I'll try to find photos of them - my camera crapped out on me so I have to wait for my buddy to give me the pics he took on his DSLR.
