Tarmac Zero Coilovers Specs?
Hello guys,
just want to check if anybody have the specifics of these set of coilovers. What points of adjustability of these? ride comfort? ride height range? Thanks! |

They JUST came out...so I doubt anybody has experience with them besides RCE.
They are pre set dampers, so only height is adjustable. Check out RCE Facebook page for more info. Personally I think they look GREAT and are on my short list of options. |

I'm working on a full write-up/release as we speak, but Mgivens nailed the basics.
These are an entry level height-adjustable coilover built by KW to our specs. Damping is pre-set and the emphasis here is on a sporty yet comfortable ride. A fun, durable, comfortable, easy to live with system that is at home on the street, in the canyons, and doing some light auto-x or track work. Put them on and enjoy. You reuse your stock top mounts so you don't have to deal with potential pops and clunks or any extra harshness from pillowball camber plates. Camber plates can be added if the user wants to at an extra cost but in most cases won't be needed for this type of buyer (you can still get plenty of camber without camber plates). - andy Last edited by Racecomp Engineering; 05-28-2013 at 02:16 PM. |

We targeted the mid range of the T2's for this set so that a potential "set it and forget it" track day/ back road kinda guy or gal could just get these, throw on stock mounts, add some front camber( -2.5 is obtainable as its slotted a hair) and have fun.
Intro special still going on until the first batch of 10 is gone. 7 left at this point. Myles RCE Founder |

Cheaper than my RCE Yellows, Koni Yellows, and Group-N strut tops.

Everybody thinks they need camber plates but glad to see more quality coilovers without them. Maybe i'm getting old but i prefer stock upper mounts and not having a bunch of adjustments to make on them.

Just placed an order for these and some bushings! Cold not be more excited!
Thanks RCE! I will definitely take some pictures and do a write up comparing them to stock. In total I will be installing the tarmac zeros with #280 springs all around, front crash bolts, TIC aluminum steering rack bushings, rear whiteline subframe bushings and camber bushings. Then of course a quality corner balanced alignment. I have stock size Michelin pilot super sports on the car already. -Michael |

Very nice stuff. Awesome price, too.
Are these roughly based off of V1s? Or what would eventually become V1s?

I know it will differ depending on the stance setup done by others but still want to see how you do it. Thanks! Last edited by melon; 06-02-2013 at 06:46 AM. |

Very interested in seeing how these feel for people. My FR-S is my DD and having coils built with that in mind is definitely appealing. I have the RCE yellow springs already and I love how they ride, but going lower on coilovers would be awesome. Might be an option for my DD since I know I would never adjust anything once I found my settings on other coils.

I'm very interesting in these as well. I think the spring rates are about where I want them (actually .5k over what I wanted but good anyways). Since these reuse the stock top hats, do you think this will work with Robispec's rear 2" top hats?
