I got P0352 today. 2012/12 model with 43000KM all stock.
I read previous post. I got confused! Which is the right location for P0352 (cylinder#2)?
Smbstyle said that ignition coil #2 is driver side towards firewall.
Gramicci101 said that ignition coil #2 is driver side towards the headlight.
Can anyone confirm the right answer? Thanks in advance.
And the correct part number for 2012 is 22433AA652, right?

One things I'd like to clarify ... my misfires do not appear when the CEL turns on.
Mine comes on most commonly when its the start of the day - after the engine has been cooling and sitting for several hours.

I'll be swapping out the coils since im nearing 50k very soon.
Hopefully that will deal with the low MPG (22/23), misfires, and CELs.

I'm hoping its Not spark plugs ...

Just wanted to add my data/experience in the mix.

First P0351 popped up around late 2014 during a relatively warm canyon run (hot day, high rpm). Note that I was stock other than a cat back then. Car has been through 3 track days previously before CEL. Brought it to the dealer, they did not replace the coil but swapped it with #3 and told me to come back if a CEL comes back, it never did.

Since then, car has gone through another 6 track days in various conditions and several canyon runs along with daily driver duty, no P035x. Car now has an SC and just took it to it's first track day on Mon. Weather was relatively mild and sessions were a little short due to some track accidents. Around mid-day, P0351 popped up and would regularly pop up at high rpms after clearing it. Seems as though it has taken about 3 years to cause what was a good (former)#3 coil to go bad inside #1.

It appears that it's location definitely has something to do with it, whether it be heat related, harness or connector, something in #1 is accelerating the coil's life. I plan on replacing both #1 and #3 and checking them for resistance once they are out.

Thanks.
Just ordered a set and it is still "052", but I have a MY2013. I believe there is a completely different number for MY2015, with a different plug, etc.

Was running at VIR this weekend and on the first Sunday run (had no problems on the four Saturday) I popped the 0351 CEL. Reset the ECU but it came on again during the second run so I called it a day. Seems like hood vents and faster replacement cycle for the coil are the way to go to avoid this. I'm a MY2013.

haha I got it at VIR too. I think its because so much of the track is foot to the floor.

I haven't been since (~18 months ago) and my replacement is still good though I carry 2 spares with me now. I'm trying to get to VIR again this year.

Have been battling this issue for almost a year now. This past weekend I got 2 CEL codes, P0300 and P0302 after a session at Sebring.

Took the hood off for the rest of the weekend - not a single code. Does appear to be heat related in the engine bay. Obviously this is extreme, but the hood vents should help - or even perhaps directed NACA ducts in the hood....

Have been having issues with this code for a while on extended sessions at the track, hoods vented, everything heat wrapped, oiler cooler, upgraded rad yadda yadda.

Tossed in the 'revised' 652 part number coils into #1 and #3 on Friday and had no issues three days in a row at the track this weekend. Ambient temps were cooler so not 100% convinced its gone yet but so far its promising.

I had the same thing happen at a track day this past weekend too, except 0352.

Before I got a chance to have someone read the code I'd turned the car off and back on 3 times and it disappeared. Went out for another session, CEL came on two laps in. Came off and had the guy read and reset the code. My buddy then told me that when he went to the dealer they wouldn't replace his since the code had been cleared and wasn't in the history. So I went back out on track to try to get the CEL to come back on. Flogged the car pretty hard around the track and it never came back on. Guess I'll have to wait for the next track day. haha

if you want it to come back on just do a bunch of third gear pulls.
