I'm looking for the OEM rims too and would rather just buy them as a package.

Unfortunately I already have plans that weekend, otherwise I'd go!

Don't do FB for this, but you're welcome to pass it along.

Update 10/12/16 : Since I haven't seen any responses about date changes, I guess Saturday the 22nd @ 8:00 AM is the choice. Rain dates can be any of the other weekend dates in October.

I was doing my daily run today, and I saw a white FRS or BRZ on the east side of Gleason Lake in Plymouth. Anyone on the forum? I gave the guy the "thumbs up", but I don't know if he saw it. I was about a block away.

I'm in Shakopee, and I'll be driving all winter.

Hi JohnJuan, I enjoyed your FR-S Build posts. My new FR-S spends most of the time in the garage. I'll be putting all seasons on it next year. Till then, on nice days I take it out on the 494 694 loop. It's about 77 miles, I listen to audiobooks and enjoy the ride.

I recommend proper winter tires. I have a hard enough time getting grip that I couldn't imagine going back to all-seasons.

I had Blizzaks on my last sportscar. I agree, they are the way to go for a daily driver during the winter. But I'm retired now, and we have an AWD. I think for the most financial sense, all seasons are the way to go for this one. I don't have to drive it everyday, and I just take it out for shits and giggles on nice days in the winter months. I'll be posting my OEM tires on this forum when I get my new tires. I'll only be asking 25 to 50 bucks for each of them. I would rather they go to a good home, instead of shredding them (and paying 15 bucks for the pleasure of recycling them) Oh, by the way, my garage is heated, so when I head out on a run in the winter, the tires are warm. I drive 2 miles to get to the highway, and then for 1 and a half hours, the tires are running at an average of 50 to 60 miles and hour. I think they stay pretty warm.

That makes a lot of sense. I have two motorcycles, so the FR-S doesn't see much street use in the summer. I have a set of Bridgestone RE-71R for summer, and some off-brand winter tires for the cold times.

It's hard to swap trunks man. Try to make a thread on the sale side.

I suppose I can finally check in

This will be my 3rd summer with the car, and I will finally have everything done to it that I wanted. The latest being a Fullblown shortblock which will be installed by them in about a month.

Im really hoping some of us can get together sometime this spring for a cruise.
